Learn more about how to get involved with the Taste of Hope

Want to join us in making the Taste of Hope 2016 a success? Check out the following volunteer opportunities and contact Jane Travis at jane.travis@cancer.org for further information.

TASTING STATION HOST

Participating in the Taste of Hope as a Tasting Station Host is an exciting skill-based opportunity for the

culinary community to help accomplish the American Cancer Society’s mission. Hosts prepare sample sized

portions of their signature dish for 500+ guests. Hosts will also receive pre-event publicity and night of

event promotion in recognition of their participation.

Please note that hosts are responsible for all costs related to their dish/beverage demonstration.

AUCTION DONOR OR SOLICITOR

The Taste of Hope includes an exciting silent auction with items ranging from extravagant vacations, local

gift certificates, designer brands, entertainment, and sports packages. We are constantly seeking popular

items, gift cards, and experiences valued at $100+ for the auction. Donations of more than $1,000 will

receive social media and website recognition.

WINE PULL DONOR

Calling all wine aficionados! The Taste of Hope features a sensational wine pull with wine bottles valued

at $30 or more. From a single bottle donation to providing several cases of wine varieties, we are

grateful for any contributions to this important revenue enhancer.

BEVERAGE DONOR

The American Cancer Society is seeking partners to provide partial or full donations of wine, whiskey, gin,

rum, tequila, bourbon, scotch, and beer for the event. Donors will receive pre-event and night of event

recognition based on the value of the donation.

VOLUNTEER

Help make the event a success by volunteering at the registration desk, as a tasting station runner,

greeter, or other position. As a volunteer based organization, volunteers are critical in helping advance

our mission to help people stay well, get well, find cures, and fight back against cancer.
