When is Taste of Hope?
Taste of Hope will take place on Thursday November 2, 2023 at the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier
What is the attire for the event?
The dress code for this event is “casual cocktail.” Many of our guests come straight from work, while others change into festive attire.
I purchased tickets online. When will I receive my tickets?
All guests should be pre-registered prior to the event. Guests will not need a hard copy ticket and will just list their name at registration. Please submit your guest list to Luke Jenkins at firstname.lastname@example.org by TBD Date.
What is the schedule of events?
Event registration begins at 5:30 pm. After you register, you will have access to the event activities including 30+ tasting stations, silent auction, raffle, music, photo opps and more. We will have a brief program at 7:00 pm. At 8:30 pm the silent auction and raffle will close, and winners will be announced. The event concludes at 9:00 pm.
Is there an after party?
We will have an after party on the second floor of the Aon Grand Ballroom following the event. We hope you can stick around to enjoy some additional cocktails, food and music from 9-10:30pm!
Can I use cash for purchases on the night of the event?
No, we do not accept cash at Taste of Hope. Only credit cards and checks will be accepted.
How do I get to Taste of Hope?
Taste of Hope is located at the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier - address 840 E. Grand Avenue.
Taxi, Uber, Lyft service: Take Grand Ave. past the West & East Garages to Entrance 2 for drop off and follow signage.
Driving: Take Grand Ave. past the West & East Garages to Entrance 2. Complimentary Valet parking is provided, grab a ticket and follow the Taste of Hope signage. We will provide a validated tag for you.
Public Transit: CTA provides multiple bus
routes to Navy Pier. Please note that the Navy
Pier bus terminal is approximately .5 mile
from the AON Grand Ballroom, a 10-minute
How do I get to the Aon Grand Ballroom?
Once you are at Navy Pier, follow signage
for the Aon Ballroom on digital screens,
static wall signage, etc. We will also have
signage indicating Taste of Hope. From
Entrance 2 drop-off enter the doors
towards the Aon Grand Ballroom and you will see
directional signage and staff to lead you to registration.
Can I purchase a ticket at the door?
Yes, we will have limited tickets available at the door for $200 each, but we do recommend purchasing in advance through our website.
Can I make a Taste of Hope donation to the American Cancer Society?
Yes, donations are being accepted. You may click here to donate online, call in or mail your donation to the Taste of Hope office.
Where does the money go that is raised at Taste of Hope?
Taste of Hope donations will support the mission of the American Cancer Society to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
Will I receive a receipt for my tax records?
If you mail in your donation, the American Cancer Society will send you a receipt for your tax records, approximately six weeks after payment is received. If you make a donation online using your credit card, you will be directed to a confirmation page that can be printed for your tax records. In addition, an email will be sent to you that includes a receipt that can be printed for your records.
